Our Social Media Accounts
Digital Nature Project Expands to Social Media to Promote Environmental Awareness
As part of our eTwinning project “Digital Nature: Greening the Future with Technology”, we have launched official social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook to share our activities and engage a wider audience.
Through these platforms, we aim to showcase the creative work of our students, including digital posters, animations, and eco-friendly designs. By bringing our project to social media, we can reach not only our students and their families but also educators, environmental enthusiasts, and the global eTwinning community.
The use of social media has several benefits: it allows for real-time updates, encourages collaboration and discussion, and helps spread awareness about environmental protection and sustainable living. Students also gain experience in presenting their work digitally, enhancing their communication and digital literacy skills.
Follow our journey as we combine technology and nature to create innovative solutions for a greener future!

Our project poster was selected from among the poster designs created by our students, as the one that received the most votes in the survey we conducted. Click here to access the Padlet page featuring our students poster designs.
As a result of the poster selection survey, the following poster has been selected as the official project poster.
Code Week Activities
A code week was generated for our project, and during Codeweek, students from all our schools completed coding activities and data entry using the same code.

Erasmus Days Activities
As part of Erasmus Days 2025, we organized an activity related to our eTwinning project “Digital Nature: Greening the Future with Technology” under the subtopic “How Can We Reduce the Carbon Footprint in Our School?”
Our students aimed to raise environmental awareness and use
technology as a tool to protect nature. Using the Web 2.0 tool WordArt,
they designed creative and thought-provoking word clouds.
Each student selected words that represent their own ideas
for reducing the carbon footprint and transformed them into visual artworks.
The final works reflect our students’ creativity, digital
competence, and environmental awareness.
The collage prepared from all these designs clearly
demonstrates the essence of the Digital Nature theme — building a
greener future through technology.

Safe Internet Day Activities
- As part of our project, our students designed an engaging 9-question Wordwall quiz to raise awareness about e-safety! 🌐
- Safe internet training was provided using content distributed through https://www.guvenliweb.org.tr/. A word hunt game was played in the classroom using the Wordwall Web 2.0 tool. The Digital Games Information Platform was introduced, and the social media safety guide was signed. Information was provided about the Internet Information Reporting Center. Information was provided on the protection of personal data.
- We conducted safe internet demonstrations in conjunction with the eTwinning comprehensive program. We provided secure online data storage through the E-Safety program. We played games with permission, reinforced with Wordwall activities. We also completed practical work on developing digital citizenship and cybersecurity features on Google Interland. Our students actively participated, both having fun and improving their internet knowledge.
- In order to raise awareness about e-safety, the Interland
– Be Internet Awesome platform (https://beinternetawesome.withgoogle.com/en_us/interland)
was first introduced to the students. Then, students were asked to complete the
course by playing the different sections of the game. At the end of the course,
each student successfully completed the process and received their
certificates.
